Left side is more for creative people who learn quickly, but us unorthodox ways. So needless to say, I don't use that side at all. Barely use the right tbh. - tomburton99
Needed to continue this.
We can tell. |

Oh stop Vin, we were joking around. Being too sensitive today. Even Tom knows we were joking around. |

I'd prefer Shattenkirk when push comes to shove I can see them signing Smith. Won't be unhappy if they chose Smith though. I think they kind of have to sign him to show they didn't get nothing by trading picks to Detroit. - tomburton99

He's right handed. The Rangers have one on the roster, one UFA college kid they signed and one rumored to be flirting with retirement. It's a necessity. |

Only problem I would have with Smith on a longer type deal, can his body hold up. Don't get me wrong, I love the way he plays but he isn't considered a big guy. |

Well his skating is better than likes if Staal or Holden. But if he plays the way AV desires, idk if he can. |

I'm still holding out hope Staal isn't here at the start of the season |

I'd pass on Shatty. He was exposed in the Toronto series of not being able to keep up with a fast pace team. Pass on him, Sign Smith, Sign Hanzel, sign Sam Gagne. Make a pitch to Colorado for Mackinnon for Kreider, Graves and a high 2018 pick. We save a bit of money for a RH D man down the road. No need to rush in to Shatty.
The lines could be
Mackinnon,Miller, Gagne
Zib, Buchnvich, Zuc
Hayes, Nash, Vesey
Hanzel, Fast, Grabner
Mac Deangelo
Skjei, Smith
Staal, Holden, Bereglazov, Point, Day |

I think Colorado is impossible to trade with, but I guarantee you we can't get Duchene or McKinnon from them without Skjei in the deal

I think you are going to lose an arm if Staal is gone and we offer sheet Draisaitl. |

Hearing Dynamo Moscow could lose all its players on July 1st. League leaning towards releasing them as UFA's. |

I like both Smith and Shatty - for 2-3 years. after that i would rather our young kids be playing. If i had to sign one of them it would be Smith because the cost is less.
I really want to see ADA play this year and I would also like to see Graves given a good look. Day will start in AHL and may force their hand to promote him - similar to Skjei.
